Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PTE-24 (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. PTE-24 is an independent test-preparation product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Pearson PLC, the owner of the PTE Academic test.

1. The Service

PTE-24 provides AI-scored practice for the PTE Academic test, including PTE Custom Practice (build-your-own sessions), PTE Solo Practice (drill a single question type), and Full Mock (a complete, timed 79-question exam simulation), across all 20 PTE Academic question types.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are below the age at which your country's law allows you to agree to these Terms on your own, a parent or guardian must accept them on your behalf.

3. Your Account

You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your password confidential. We verify the deliverability of the email address you register with. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, and must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Subscriptions, Trials & Billing

  • New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No payment is required to start a trial.
  • Paid plans (Core and Premium, billed monthly or yearly) renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Subscription settings, which opens Stripe's secure billing portal.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current billing period unless required by law.
  • The Free tier has reduced access (a limited set of question types, a daily practice cap, and a monthly Full Mock cap) as described on our pricing page.

5. Audio Recording & Consent

Speaking practice requires recording your voice. You will always be asked for explicit consent before any recording is made, and you can decline and continue using the rest of the Service without it. See our Privacy Policy for how recordings are processed, stored, and deleted.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials or let another person use your account.
  • Attempt to copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell our question bank or scoring system.
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or upload unlawful content.
  • Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the Service's infrastructure or security.

7. No Guarantee of Exam Results

PTE-24's scores and feedback are generated by automated AI systems intended to approximate PTE Academic scoring for practice purposes. They are estimates, not official results, and we do not guarantee any specific outcome, score, or band on the actual PTE Academic test. Your results on the real exam, administered solely by Pearson, may differ.

8. Intellectual Property

All questions, scoring logic, software, and content provided through the Service are owned by PTE-24 or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own personal exam preparation. You retain ownership of the written and spoken responses you submit, but grant us the licence necessary to process and score them as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PTE-24 will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including any loss arising from your performance on the actual PTE Academic exam.

10. Termination & Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your Account settings; see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including the Acceptable Use rules in Section 6.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Jurisdiction — to be confirmed], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
